THE second Bula Mai Style Fiji Show is set to kick off after a successful inaugural show last year.

Organisers of the event — Project Bula Mai — have promised a bigger and better event this year after raising more than $200,000 last year. The group organised the event last December to raise money for Nadi Hospital. The group aims to raise $100,000 for the hospital this year.

Since the last event, Project Bula Mai has received commendations and acknowledgement for raising community awareness of the need to provide basic life-saving medical equipment for the hospital.

With more than 450 people in attendance, the event caused excitement, goodwill and comradeship with people coming from around Fiji and former Fiji residents flying in from New Zealand and Australia to support the cause. PBM - StyleFiji has bought brand new medical equipment from MedSpares New Zealand totalling $80,000 with support from Air Pacific.
