THE progress of Pacific Island Countries in terms of achieving Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) has been reviewed in Nadi.
While a conference has addressed the accomplishments and challenges faced by different countries, it also looked at the employment of strategies to assist in accelerating and sustaining growth.
Over 80 representatives from government, civil society and development partners engaged in intense discussions over MDG issues.
Speaking on the MDGs, the challenges and moving forward, was United Nations Resident Co-ordinator and UN Development Programme Resident Representative, Knut Ostby.
