MAINTAINING their faith, members of the Saint Patrick sector of the Holy Family Parish in Labasa walked about two kilometres on Tuesday night to mark the month of the Rosary.
The month is significant to all the Catholics worldwide as they commemorate the good deeds of Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ.
Sector evangelisation chairman Taione Toga said the walk was a form of strengthening their faith as this was the universal year of faith for Catholics.
"We walked from Lajonia junction to Tuatua Housing where we all came together to pray as one family," Mr Toga said.
"This is an act of evangelisation as we work towards keeping our faith. Since the parish bazaar is over in August, some members tend to loosen up their reliance on God but we don't want that to happen."
