SYDNEY — Excitement levels remain high after an encouraging A-League debut but striker Mark Bridge insists Western Sydney remain grounded as they prepare for Friday's away clash with Adelaide.
The Wanderers held heavyweights Central Coast to a scoreless draw in their first outing at Parramatta Stadium last Saturday and former Sydney FC frontman Bridge admitted he found it difficult not to get carried away with the occasion.
"Excitement levels are still pretty high," he said at training on Wednesday.
"It was tough going to the game and preparing. I had to turn the radio off in the car (because) I was getting too excited, so I sat there in silence on the way to Parramatta.
