NADOGO aims to finish in a better position when they take part in this year's IDC tournament which kicks-off in Ba tomorrow.

Nadogo president Arun Kumar said they wanted to finish in a better spot this weekend.

Kumar said last year they reached the semi-finals but this time they wanted to make it to the finals.

Kumar said the team had been training hard in the past few weeks with the focus on a top finish in Ba.

"The boys have been training hard with coach Apenisa Ciwa and I can say everything has been good so far," Kumar said.

"We have selected a very strong side which we believe can go and do a better job during the tournament.

"As he is a former Nadogo player himself our coach Ciwa has managed to get the players to give their best during training.

"All our players have been selected from our weekly club competition and they are all local boys. We have not brought anyone from outside of Nadogo and these we're taking to Ba are all home grown talents," Kumar said.

Kumar said they had not named their captain for the tournament but would do so before the tournament start.

Kumar said the team would leave for the long trip to Ba today. Nadogo will be playing in premier competition at the IDC.
