All set for race

The stage is set for a highly competitive 2012 Sigatoka Bilibili Race to be staged tomorrow.

Competition official Una Murray said preparation's for the 2012 Bilibili Race was on track and they hoped the event would be a success.

Murray said word from the various team camps was that they were all coming well prepared for this year's competition.

"Teams have been training hard and everyone wants to do their best in the various events they take part in," Murray said.

"I believe this year's competition will be more competitive compared to last year's competition."

Murray said the Commissioner of Police Brigadier General Iowane Naivalurua would be the chief guest at the event.

The Sigatoka Bilibili Race is an annual event and will be hosted at the Sigatoka River.

The one-day competition has attracted 12 teams from various stakeholders in the tourism industry.
