TWO prison escapees Isoa Waqa and Solomoni Qurai appeared at the Suva Magistrate's Court yesterday.
Escorted by police officers the two were limping with visible injuries on their bodies. They appeared before Chief Magistrate Usaia Ratuvili.
Waqa is charged with 10 counts of criminal intimidation, resisting arrest, aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery, theft, damaging property, while Qurai is charged with seven counts of similar offences including attempted aggravated robbery.
The case will be called again on October 22 before Mr Ratuvili and in the High Court on October 26.
He also ordered the two to remain in police custody.
