MUSICAL guests promising to deliver some of the best performances have been confirmed for the annual Pinktober charity celebrations at the Hard Rock Cafe at Port Denarau next week.
Four bands and a dance group will be providing the entertainment at Port Denarau between October 10 to 13, joining the restaurant's campaign to create awareness on breast cancer and raise funds for related charities around the world.
The music will include four Make It Count winners while popular VOU Entertainment Group will perform live during the Hard Rock Cafe Beer and Music Festival.
Organisers also have various activities planned. These include a Pink-a-thon which is a charity walk from Nadi Town to the National Training and Productivity Centre, a Pinkilicious Night organised by the local gay community and a bra art competition by HRC staff while donation boxes and tins will also be distributed for those that turn up for the event.
Organisers of the three-day event have revealed that proceeds collected from last year's event will be collected with money raised this year and will be donated to charity. This restaurant chain has been hosting Pinktober parties for 13 years and money raised goes specifically to create awareness and for breast cancer research.
