THE Lautoka and Ba corrections centres will soon take its Yellow Ribbon Campaign to Sigatoka.

Expected to be one of the biggest campaign in the Western Division, the launch of the program has also drawn the support of Sigatoka chief the Na Ka Levu, Ratu Sakiusa Makutu.

Ratu Sakiusa will be chief guest at the Yellow Ribbon Launch at St Joan of Arc School in Sigatoka on October 19.

According to Fiji Corrections Service west media officer Semesa Uluiviti, Ratu Sakiusa's support spoke volumes of the program's success.

He said officers at the Lautoka Corrections Centre had been visiting villages along the Coral Coast promoting the program.

"The Yellow Ribbon Program is not for inmates, it's for the members of the public to accept inmates after they serve their term in prison and now it's Sigatoka's turn to embrace this initiative."
