Many young people are not satisfied with just having a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship anymore.
They want more. They want to jump from phase 1 of the relationship to phase 10! They want to have sex.
Whether they do it for love, lust, gratification, for their image, or to experiment, doesn't really matter.
And in this new age of sexual revolution, where we have pop stars, and movie celebrities embracing and encouraging sexual freedom, young people are motivated, inspired and encouraged to be just like their favourite stars, or the populars at school. Sex. When can I have it? The pressure to do it can be overwhelming. Many young people have the impression of enjoying a kind of sexual Disneyland where we'd go from one thrill to another.
And does age even matter?

I think that you should have sex when u r responsible enough and ready to have a baby, otherwise you are messing up the system God gave us to produce offspring.

I'm only 14, and yeah I really think about sex, but then again there's all the STDs, and pregnancies, and parents extremely mad... I think if you really love your bf/gf, and felt it's the right time. otherwise, you may regret everything!

I'm 16 and I am still a virgin. There is no age for sex, but I feel like if you are not responsible enough to take care of a child or face consequences of having sex you shouldn't. Mutual understanding and respect is key to a healthy relationship, you don't have to have sex to prove you love someone. I think when you are ready, you just know.

I was wonderin' what it was like to do "it" but after reading all of this, I dont want to think about it anymore n anyways ppl in my school will call ppl who wanna have "it" sickos or ur so sick! I waited until I was ready.
I was 17 and a half, almost to the day when I first had sex. He was the right man and still is 3 years later. He loved me and I loved him. WE were ready. It is a thundering emotional commitment. We talked about it before it happened, even came close sometimes and comfortable and respectfully called it off. I think when you know you know. I am going to marry this man someday. But having sex for any reason besides commitment and love is out of the question. If it wasn't with this man, I would have regretted it my whole life. Wait for the one, maybe even just a one. But someone important, honest and trustworthy. You should feel confident and comfortable. Never nervous. You may want to, you may feel like you need to...Do not take sex lightly.

It's your decision to have sex. It's your body and you can choose to do what you want with it. I am 17 and still a virgin. I do plan on doing it with the guy I'm in love with. But only when I'm ready. And I will be on birth control and he will wear a condom. Or it won'thappen.

A boy will sweet talk you and tell you he loves you and that he won't tell anyone about what ya'll did, but he's lying! The next day the entire school will have found out. Therefore you now have a reputation. WAIT, WAIT, WAIT!, until you are ready! When you and your partner feel it is the right time, then you may be right. But always beware of the consequences. STD'S, pregnancy, etc. Also NEVER be alone with a boy! They will take advantage of you. Your virginity is yours and yours only. Nobody should ever take it away from you until you give them the permission to do so. Don't let some cute guy or thirsted sweet talk you. You'll regret it. I'm 13 and was almost taken advantage of by both a few months back, but luckily I'm okay. Boys are crazy! Just remember that girls. Hope this helped! :)

I am 18, and i haven't had sex with my partner, i feel like i wanna do it but just wait, till she is ready...be patient and when ever you get to it make sure you just don't rush on it ... do it calmly and like the best experience for you and her.. she will love it, i guess.. and just make her feel like you do wanna do it but do not be hard on her..
