FOURTEEN new national records have been set during the 2012 Fiji Swimming Age Group Short Course Nationals at the Nadi Sports Club.
Matelita Buadromo and Temafa Yalimaiwai both of the Tritons Club stole the show during the first two days of the event.
The duo set a total of four reords each.
Matelita set records in the women 15-16 800m free style, women 15-16 100m back stroke, women 15-16 butterfly stroke and women 15-16 individual medley categories.
Tefama broke records in the men 9-10 50m free style, men 9-10 100m butterfly stroke, men 9-10 200m individual medley and men 9-10 400m medley.
2012 Fiji Swimming Age Group Short Course Nationals meet director Alison Browne said a total of eight clubs had entered the three day competition.
