MORRIS Hedstrom has added yet another outlet to its food chain at MHCC with the opening of Mammak-Truly Malaysian Cuisine yesterday.

The outlet, located next to MH's Secret Recipe restaurant, is the latest addition to a variety of dishes already on offer for customers at the MHCC food court.

MH director media and marketing Kuna Sabaratnam said the company spent 'quite a sum' on the set-up of the new outlet which provides vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.

"We already have a Chinese restaurant, iTaukei dishes, foods from Singapore as well as North and South Indian cuisine. Mamak in Malaysia is a culture where you can find everything in one street or place," he said.

"It's a place where people can get together and have quality street food in Malaysia. We brought in chefs from Malaysia and employed a few locals.

"Some of our ingredients are imported from Malaysia and the price is reasonable ranging from $4 to around $8."

Mr Sabaratnam said the Malaysian acting high commissioner Nor'Azam Mohd Idrus officially opened the food outlet.
