COMBINE Brothers and Snipers maintain their lead in the Vodafone Suva/Lami Darts League competition.
The Lami-based Combine Brothers overcame Radial Darts 8-3 at Defence Club in Suva on Monday night to stretch their lead in Pool A.
Despite being gunned down by Team Finance Pacific 3-8, Snipers maintained their lead in Pool B to remain in the race for the top prize.
Fiji Darts Association president Nyla Alfred said TFP needed this win to stay in contention after losing 5-6 to Telecom Fiji last week.
"Gold Darts and Wild Bulls also registered good wins to maintain their positions in Pool B," she added.
Alfred said big win from 3Ds also saw them maintaining their second spot in Pool A.
The Lami-based team overcame giant killers Basic Darts 9-2 while Wilderness Merchants edged Central Darts 6-5 to keep themselves in contention for the top four finish in Pool A.
Sharneet Mani of 3Ds scored 180, the highest for the night and the second in this competition.
Meanwhile, in the feature match of next week, Combine Brothers will take on Central Darts in Pool A while Gold Darts faces Snipers in Pool B.
