THE month of October will stride to its end in an explosion of pink ribbons, pink dresses and cards carrying messages of sympathy for every woman who suffers from cancer — giving the month the name Pinktober.
The name, says cancer survivor Sharon Bhagwan-Rolls, shall hold true to its course which is to raise awareness of the need for an early detection and cure against all forms of cancer. Housewives from the country's corporate houses opened the drive with contributions.
