THE Suva Magistrates Court yesterday fixed a new trial date for a 20-year-old man charged with one count of theft.
Jonetani Sereki pleaded not guilty before Chief Magistrate Usaia Ratuvili.
Mr Sereki is alleged to have robbed Mohammed Ali on June 1 last year at a bus stop by Nabua Primary School.
The court heard that while waiting for a bus, Mr Ali was set upon by Mr Sereki.
As Mr Ali opened his wallet to get his bus fare, Mr Sereki grabbed the wallet and ran away.
The court set the trial date for November 5.
