A WATER main located in Waila burst yesterday afternoon, leaving residents of Nausori, Baulevu, Korociriciri, through to the Burebasaga District without water supply.
In a statement, the Water Authority of Fiji said the disruption was the result of a burst main at Waila.
Water trucks were sent to the affected areas and customers were told to store enough water to last them for the next 10 hours
The authority said water was expected to be restored to the affected areas by 8am today.
The affected areas included Nausori Town, Kings Rd from Baulevu to Nausori Town, Vuci Rd, Raralevu, Korociriciri, Vusuya, Bau Rd to Bau Island, Wainibokasi Rd, Kiuva Rd, Kaba, Tokatoka, Noco and Burebasaga districts.
