ELDERLY patients are increasingly being neglected after being discharged from St Giles Hospital.
This was revealed by senior nursing sister and training co-ordinator Miliakere Sorovakawalu.
"Our worst case is when children cannot accept their elderly parents after they are discharged," said Ms Sorovakawalu. She said there are about 40 elderly in-patients who are being housed by the hospital for about 25 years.
