50 Cent is among the famous friends grieving the death of hip hop mogul Chris Lighty and the rapper has now agreed to bankroll a private probe into the 44-year-old’s apparent suicide.

Lighty, who had managed Sean ‘Diddy’ combs, L.L. Cool J and Missy Elliott among others, died on August 30 from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head after he reportedly argued with his wife at his home in the affluent Bronx, New York neighborhood of Riverdale.

The New York Medical Examiner has ruled the death a suicide but Lighty’s family is suspicious of the circumstances leading up to his death and have asked the Grammy winner to pay for the inquiry.

Lighty’s wife Veronica, was named as the primary beneficiary and executor of Lighty’s will. Lighty’s children will also benefit through a $1.6 million trust.

‘It’s a world divided. Even at the funeral, Veronica sat on one side in the front with her kids and her family, and the Lighty family was on the other,’ sources told the New York Post’s Page Six about the hostility between his family and widow.

‘A lot of people want answers; a lot of things don’t really add up,’ another source said.

Bobbi Kristina involved in car accident with boyfriend Nick ‘as couple argued’

It is currently unclear how the accident happened.

According to gossip website, the couple had been arguing at the time of the crash - which destroyed the entire front end of the vehicle - and Nick’s Camaro was the only car involved. No one was injured.

Bobbi and Nick lived together as brother and sister for more than a decade before Whitney’s death. The chart-topping singer took Nick into her home at the age of 12 when his father went to prison and his mother was unable to take care of him. Nick was the superstar’s unofficially adopted son, and she treated him like family up until her death.

Whitney was found dead in a Beverly Hills hotel room on February 11, 2012.

The six-time Grammy award winning singer, died at the age of 48 due to an accidental drowning complicated by heart disease and cocaine use.

Nick first fueled rumours about a relationship with Bobbi Kristina in a tweet written in March, shortly after Houston died.

He wrote: ‘Yea we got a little closer and what’

The controversial couple have reportedly been sharing her $1.2million Atlanta home together ever since.

By the age of 30 Bobbi will have inherited everything that belonged to her iconic mother - mansions, jewellery, cars, and an extraordinary fortune.

It’s been almost nine months since Russell Brand and Katy Perry decided to end their marriage.

And now it seems that Russell is finally coming to terms with why the pair didn’t last - candidly explaining that he sensed an ‘incompatibility’ while married to the California Gurls singer.

Appearing on the showAustralia’s 60 Minutes, Russell spoke openly about the couple’s decision to call it a day on their 14-month marriage last December. Russell said: ‘Sometimes it goes well, sometimes it don’t, but if you sort of sense there’s an incompatibility, then in any relationship regardless of the status of the individual, it kind of is best to go separate ways.’

The comedian spoke about why he believes people should date those with similar interests for the best chance of long-term compatibility.

He said: ‘I think if you’re someone who’s really into mountain biking, it would be good to go out with someone else who’s into mountain biking, and if you’re really into Eastern mysticism, go out with someone else who into Eastern mysticism.’

Russell added: ‘I think if you’re a devoted tennis professional and you get married to a crystal meth addict, you might have trouble… I’ve been in a lot of trouble.’

Russell, who has faced his own widely-reported battle with drink and drugs, went on to explain that drug taking had only been a quick-fix for him - before his passion for his comedy work gave him a sense of inner peace.
