O'REILLY's will definitely be the place to be tonight. The favourite night spot in Suva City will be ending its 20th Birthday Celebrations with the much-anticipated Dragathon Party.
Organisers have labelled it 'bigger than the Hibiscus Festival's Adi Senikau pageant,' and one that 'cannot be missed.'
The Dragathon isn't just a party, it's a mixture of gala, pageant and mardi gras with a lot of alcohol, never ending entertainment, good music and a happy-go-lucky crowd that is down for a good time.
"This is in collaboration with the Drodrolagi Movement. O'Reilly's is supportive of people with different sexual preferences so we are really looking forward to the Dragathon," the event promoter for O'Reilly's Bar Chris Mallam said.
"O'Reilly's Bar has made it this far because of its loyal customers and we want them to have a good time tonight.' The program begins at 7pm. Entry is $10 per head which gets you a free bottle of Tribe upon entry and free tribal punch towers through the night. The show proper begins at 8:30pm and the MC for the night will be none other than Rani Ravudi. Ten contestants will be gracing the stage, competing for the Miss Glamourina crown in a range of categories which includes talent, best makeup and best dressed.
"This is the only place to see this type of entertainment and fun before the end of the year. It will be wild and fun and everyone can be assured they will have a good time," Mr Mallam said.
Entertainment for the night includes performances from Glamouricious and a special appearance from the 2012 Adi Senikau Queen. Free Condoms and lubes will also be given out throughout the night. Money raised from the Dragathon will be given to the Drodrolagi Movement.
