THE Water Authority of Fiji receives an average of 250 complaints per day from its 140,000 customers Fiji-wide.
This means the authority receives an average of 1750 complaints per week, 7000 complaints per month and an average of 84,000 per year. This was confirmed yesterday by WAF corporate communications team leader Fulori Turaga.
She said the alarming number of complaints was a matter of concern to the authority and efforts had been undertaken to address the matter to meet the customers need.
"In total, WAF receives through our Call Centre about 200 to 300 complaints a day. These are complaints from all the regions," said Ms Turaga.
"In terms of addressing these complaints, we delegate it to the unit responsible and they are given time frame by which they are to have the complaint resolved."
