RUGBY league player Voate Pepe Buatava is eyeing for the top award in this weekend’s Mr West competition to be held in Nadi tomorrow.
The 21-year-old has already won many bodybuilding titles and he is confident of his chances against the best in the west.
Buatava said his dream to win the top award in the sport could fulfil his ultimate dream of representing Fiji at the Oceania championship.
He said has prepared well for the battle and was ready to showcase his class in the business.
The Body Academy Gym instructor would be competing in the 75 kg and his optimistic of his chances.
“I have been involved with the sport some three years ago and I know I have the experience and the built to win the Mr West title,” said Buatava.
“I am aware of the tough challenge from other competitors but I am ready for the challenge. I am not new to the sport and I have also tasted the feeling of winning some major prizes in the sport in the previous years.”
The Saru Dragons rugby league player said winning the Mr West would give him the chance to fight for the country at the international stage. The Mr West competition will be held in Nadi.
