Tappoo set to rock the night

IT WILL be a festival of music, dance and comedy when Sumeet Tappoo’s Fiji tour show ‘A Celebration of Bollywood’ rocks the FMF National Gymnasium this evening.

Tappoo, who has already made waves in Bollywood, will sing the latest film hits by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Atif Aslam, Mohit Chauhan and Sonu Nigam.

He will be backed by a full orchestra of musicians and dancers from Bollywood.

Upcoming Bollywood singer Jasmine Kapadia will also share the stage with Tappoo who has performed extensively in countries around the world including US, Canada, South Africa, Britain, Malaysia, Mauritius, Australia, NZ, Fiji and India.

Among his more than 400 concert performances, Tappoo has also performed live joint performances with Bollywood legends Hariharan, Shankar Mahadevan and Suresh Wadikar.

The high-profile Bollywood dancers accompanying Tappoo are part of the sensational DNR dance team from Mumbai.

Also part of the team will be Bollywood star-comedian Dipoo Srivastava who is making waves in the field of stand-up comedy in India.

Tappoo will perform two further shows at Tilak High School auditorium in Lautoka tomorrow and at Swami Vivekananda College in Nadi on Sunday.
