PINT-sized Bibiana Tunaulu stole hearts at the preliminary rounds of the Na Domo singing competition on Tuesday night.
She is only eight years old but is getting an early start in singing.
The Class Three Stella Maris student said although she had not sung in front of an audience in the past, nerves were not a problem for her.
Bibiana gave a stirring rendition of the Dixie Chicks’s Travelling Soldier - a song she said was taught to her by her number one supporter — her mother.
“I chose the song because I knew it and my mother taught me how to sing it,” she said.
When asked what made her enter the Na Domo singing competition, Bibiana said the encouragement from those around her was a big factor.
“I just joined because my mother said I should come and sing here,” she said.
On Tuesday night the competition’s contestants sang in a non-elimination round.
Judges of the competition were impressed with the number of original songs that were sung.
