Bayern cruise as Dortmund, Frankfurt held

BERLIN - Mario Mandzukic scored twice as Bayern Munich eased past Wolfsburg 3-0 to continue their perfect start to the Bundesliga campaign.

But Eintracht Frankfurt dropped their first points of the season — though they did capture a 3-3 draw against reigning champions Borussia Dortmund.

Bastian Schweinsteiger hit the post twice before giving Bayern the lead in the 24th minute yesterday. With Wolfsburg rarely venturing forward, Mandzukic doubled the advantage with a header in the 57th minute.

The Croatian international finished off Wolfsburg for good with his fifth Bundesliga goal of the season in the 65th minute.

Bayern have a perfect 15 points from five matches and now are two points ahead of Frankfurt and seven up on Dortmund.
