FUSA in China
Fiji may be represented in two sports in the World University Games next year. In 2010, Fiji only took part in athletics in the Games in China. Fiji University Sports Association administration manager and national treasurer Thakur Tara Singh said they were aiming to send a rugby 7s and an athletics team to the games next year. "FUSA has no sponsors and we would very grateful to commercial organisations and others for assistance or sponsorship for next year's World University games," Singh said. "This year's FUSA games were very successful compared to previous years and we would like to thank the Fiji Sports Council and Coca- Cola for their support."

Nasinu teams
WASTE Recycles and Friends will represent Nasinu in the National Club Championship this year. The two will feature in the final of the Nasinu Football Association local league competition. Last year no teams from Nasinu participated in the NCC. Association vice president Ravinesh Murti said last year their league competition finished late. "Just because we finished late, none of our teams participated in the NCC," Murti said. "This year, we finished before the deadline and we have nominated our representatives in the competition." Friends have the services of seven Nasinu reps while Waste Recycles have one. The final of the local league will be played after the Courts Inter-District Championship.
