THE trial of a church leader facing sexual-related charges will proceed in November.
All Nations church leader Pastor Epeli Ratabacaca appeared before Justice Paul Madigan in the High Court in Suva yesterday.
He has denied a count of indecent assault and two counts of rape.
The matter was set for the pre-trial conference yesterday.
Director of Public Prosecutions lawyer Lisiate Fotofili told the court he gave the defence the final agreed facts based on the amendments given by the defence. He also highlighted a typing error in the caution interview.
Mr Fotofili told the court the caution interview was conducted in the iTaukei language and translated into English.
Justice Madigan asked defence lawyer Filimone Vosarogo if there were any glaring errors in the translation. Mr Vosarogo denied this. The judge said trial would begin on November 1.
