The Srixon Cleveland Fiji team will be eying a top 20 finish when the side participates in the World Amateur Teams Championship in Turkey next month.
The national side includes Vikrant Chandra, Olaf Allen Jr and Anuresh Chandra. The team has been preparing well at the Natadola Bay Championship course under national coach Jose Calleja.
National Golf Association of Fiji secretary Amitesh Chandra said they could not get a major sponsor for the team.
"We would like to thank all corporate bodies and individuals who helped us during the three fund raising tournaments," Amitesh said.
"We had organised the lottery tickets. The national team is also thankful to Air Pacific, Tappoo's group, famous clothing brand CK Golf for outfitting them and the Minister for Youth and Sports Viliame Naupoto.
"The team is aiming to finish in the top 20. There will be 72 teams participating. We hope to better our placing from the last outing in Australia."
