FIJI under-20 rep Temisi Tuwai scored a brace of goals on debut in Nadi's 3-1 victory over Savusavu in the Fiji Sun/GP Batteries National Football League at Prince Charles Park on Saturday night.
Tuwai struck twice in the second half to end Nadi's 2012 NFL campaign on a high note.
The Swami Vivekananda College student was on target in the 54th and 69th minute.
Nadi team technical director Imdad Ali said the win was a morale booster ahead of the Courts Inter District Championship in Ba next month.
He said Savusavu gave them a tough time.
"It's good to end the NFL with a win," Ali said.
"We will now focus on our preparation for the IDC."
Ilimotama Jese opened the account for the hosts in the 12th minute.
Nadi led 1-0 at halftime.
Akuila Bulewa scored a consolation goal for the visitors in the 80th minute.
