FIJI Sugar Corporation took out the Parmar/P Meghji-sponsored 5 a-side business house soccer tournament at the multipurpose courts in Lautoka on Saturday night.
In the final, the FSC team defeated Makans 5-4 in a penalty shootout. Both teams were locked 2-all after fulltime.
Shivneel Kumar of FSC was named the best player of the three day event. In the semi-final FSC downed Fiji Bitter 3-2 while Makans defeated Medics One 3-1.
Tournament co-ordinator Deo Raj said a total of 22 teams participated in the event. He said the response was overwhelming.
"The tournament ended on a high note with the final going down to the wire," Raj said.
"We are now planning to start a business house league competition in November."
