MORE rain and thunderstorm can be expected over most places in the country today.
And people going out to work or school should keep umbrellas and jackets to protect them from the rain.
The Nadi Weather Forecasting Centre yesterday said a trough of low pressure remains slow moving over Fiji.
"Associated cloud and rain is expected to affect the group till Monday. Isolated heavy falls expected," said senior meteorologist Amit Singh yesterday.
The rain and thunderstorm is expected to affect Navua, Suva, Nausori, Nadi, Lautoka, Ba and parts of the Northern Division.
The weather is expected to clear tomorrow but the weather office has warned there could be slight to moderate strong winds experienced in these areas.
Heavy rainfall was experienced in parts of the Central Division from late Saturday afternoon until early yesterday morning, with the skies remaining cloudy yesterday afternoon.
