MEMBERS of the Lomaiviti Provincial Council Youth want an end to the coup culture in Fiji.
In their submissions to the Constitution Commission, the council proposed that new laws should ensure there will be no more coups.
They said Fiji had been dragged back many times by the coups when the rest of the world was moving forward.
The councillors also proposed that the 1997 constitution be reinstated as a guideline for drawing up the new constitution, and that amendments should be made on it rather than put in place totally new document.
