THOUSANDS gathered in the highlands of Nadarivatu to witness the official opening of the Nadarivatu Hydro-electric scheme that was opened by the Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama.
The new plant will help Fiji Electricity Authority save $42 million per year on imported fuel costs.
