Lautoka

THE beginners' training program will begin on September 22 at the Lautoka Multi-purpose Courts from 8am to 11am. All interested age groups wishing to learn basketball are welcome to attend. For further information contact Sava on 9076447. Register now as limited numbers will only be taken.

BILIBILI

Meeting

THE Sigatoka Bilibili Race Committee meeting will be held at the Sigatoka Town Council chambers on September 21 at 3pm. Teams please note the closing date of registration forms and fees is on September 19. For more information please contact chairman Jacob Pau'u on 6733362 or 6733300.

BODYBUILDING

Nationals

THE National Bodybuilding Championships will be held at the FNU Namaka Campus in Nadi from 5pm on September 29. Trophies will be awarded to Mr Fiji, Ms Fiji, Open Overall, Mr West, Mr Suva, Best Poser and Most Promising. Weigh-in the same day 11am-12 noon at Bodylife Gym. Athletes entry fees $10. Public entry $3. Team to compete at South Pacific Bodybuilding Championships in the Cook Islands on November 10th will be picked at the contest.

FASANOC

Meeting

All FASANOC affiliates are advised that a Board of Management meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 19th, 2012, at 5.30 pm at Fiji Olympic House, 17 Bau Street, Suva. As per the FASANOC Constitution, Art 6.2 (a), each affiliated federation is required to send one accredited delegate to the meeting.

HOCKEY

Marist Eastgate

THE Marist Hockey Club of Suva will host the 2012 Marist Eastgate Memorial Hockey Open on September 21-23 at the National Hockey Centre in Suva. Men's and women's teams will battle it out for the prestigious Reginald and Dorothy Eastgate Memorial trophies. In addition, mixed under-14 development teams will also be battling for the Apted Trophy.

NETBALL

Coral Coast

ROUND 1 games will be played at Lawaqa Park on Thursday at 5pm: C1 Frends-Outrigger (mixed); 5.30 Frends-Outrigger (Open Men). Contact Judy on 9949410 or Gavidi on 9840345. Teams can still register for $50 if they want to be part of the National Championship.
