KAILA - The most powerful man of the nation, made an educational visit to Natabua High School on 25th June, 2012, marking the first of a four school visit to deliver a speech on the rising number of HIV/AIDS cases in Fiji. The President of Fiji, His Excellency Ratu Epeli Nailatikau was greeted to a warm welcome at Natabua High School before giving his speech, outlining a brief history on AIDS and by adding slight humor the president kept his speech anything but dull

Ratu Nailatikau stated that almost 90% of all people dying of HIV/AIDS would not survive the anti retro-viral treatment.

After the speech, the president opened the floor to all, requesting the young minds before him to come up and ask questions on anything else, they wanted to know about HIV/AIDS.

A question about the effectiveness of condoms sparked a well versed answer from His Excellency, "You have got be realistic in these situations, so yes condoms are very effective in the prevention of the spread of HIV/AIDS".

After an hour and a half of speaking to a much more enlightened group of students, the President wrapped up his speech with an extremely sensible quote showing a unique understanding of the temptations of today's modern youth.

"By all means, have your fun. Just think a little too".
