WATISONI Ratulevu returns to Lawaqa Park today with his Northland warriors looking to finish on a better position compared to their 2010 Farebrother Sullivan trophy challenge which ended in a draw.
Ratulevu was the Northland coach when they were held to a 12-all draw by holders Nadroga.
Last year, Ratulevu moved to coach Rewa and former Flying Fijians Coach Ilivasi Tabua was called in to lead the side.
Ratulevu was recalled to the Northland camp last week as Tabua was not available for the challenge against Nadroga.
As he looks forward to the clash with the Stallions this afternoon in Sigatoka, Ratulevu said the key for Northland was to win their set pieces.
Northland has named a mobile pack to try and stop the rampaging Nadroga forwards.
Former Flying Fijian hooker Sireli Ledua has been named to lead the side and he will be assisted by former Army halfback Sailasa Vasua. Other key players for Northland today will be flankers Rosa Raravisa and Niumaia Bari while lanky Taniela Vueta will man the last line of defence from his fullback berth.
Nadroga has made several changes from the one that played Tailevu in the opening title defence.
Nadroga manager Paula Biu said the changes did not mean that they underestimated Northland.
"We make these changes because these players are the best that we have selected for this game.
"We respect Northland and we will always select our best team to play against them.
"We have a very big squad and we always reward our players for their hard work during training and if we see that they fit in to the game-plan that our coaches want the team to play," Biu said.
The game kicks off at 3pm.
