New trophy

BA businessman Mahendra Bilimoria has given a memorial trophy to be contested in the Ba Rugby Union club competition. The trophy is in memory of his father the late Amabalal Bilimoria. Along with the trophy some other prizes and gifts will be given. He said wanted the youths and rugby players of Ba to move away from a life of crime and move closer to sports. "Sports is all part of healthy living and I would like to encourage the players and youths of Ba to move away from activities that is harmful to their health and move towards things that are beneficial, for example rugby," Bilimoria said.

NFL changes

SOME changes have been made to today's under-21 National Football League games. The Fiji Football Association announced the Lami versus Navua match has been postponed while the Tailevu Naitasiri versus Rewa game has been shifted to the Saraswati grounds in Manoca, Nausori. A statement from the Fiji FA said other fixtures remained the same. In other under-21 games, Nasinu faces Suva at the USP grounds today while Nadroga takes on Ba at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka tomorrow.
