TOURISM Fiji has started a two-week television and digital campaign to attract Christmas and 2013 first quarter bookings.
The campaign which started on September 9 showcases Fiji as a family holiday destination.
A statement said the campaign included 15 to 30-second TVC's in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne on metro networks 7 and 9, complemented by digital activity through the Fairfax Digital Service.
"The call-to-action, cross-platform campaign also integrates a dedicated destination page on TravelZoo, which will showcase deals and specials to Fiji from licensed partners, addressing the 700,000+ people seeking travel deals and advice from the website. This is supported by a dedicated ad word search and social media activity on Facebook," the statement said.
"The partners taking part in the campaign are a variety of wholesale and retail outlets that are offering packages to Fiji, including Air Pacific, who is offering Fiji Friendly Fares to Nadi from $522/adult and from $199/child return. Other partners include Virgin Australia, Creative Holidays, Escape Travel, and Wotif.com. All partners including individual offers from resorts and operators in Fiji are featured on www.fijime.com.au."
