THE Peninsula International Hotel offers a number of facilities that are open to the public.
The hotel has 100 rooms which are divided into five room types. These include standard to super deluxe rooms.
There is also a pool bar, Baka Bar and Mokosoi Restaurant. The hotel's conference room caters for 40 to 50 people depending on the setup.
The hotel pool bar situated on the first floor was refurbished in recent months.
Guests, visitors and members of the public can now enjoy a cold refreshing drink beside the pool from 12 midday to 8 pm. Happy hour is from 5 pm to 8 pm, Monday to Friday and 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Most of the area near the pool is covered with a roof allowing guests and visitors a place to sit in the comfort of tables and chairs.
Located on the second floor is the pride of the Peninsula - a renovated, air conditioned, no-smoking sports lounge known as Baka Bar. It opens Monday to Friday, from 2 pm to 10 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 4 pm to 10 pm.
The bar sells draught Fiji Gold and Fiji Bitter on tap at $10 a jug during happy hour and $13 for the same after happy hour.
After that long day at the office the Baka Bar is a great place to relax away from the CBD.
For great dining, the Mokosoi Restaurant opens for breakfast from 7 am to 10 am. Lunch is served from 12 midday to 2 pm and dinner is from 6 pm to 10 pm.
Apart from the a la carte menu, the restaurant provides daily lunch and dinner specials.
Occasionally a special night of Fijian dishes are available. There is a meal choice for everyone's taste.
