THE High Court has ordered that a man charged with triple murder undergo a psychiatric evaluation.
Bimlesh Prakash Dayal appeared before Justice Paul Madigan yesterday.
Mr Dayal pleaded not guilty in the High Court in Suva to killing his wife and two daughters between October 28 and 29 last year at Nanuku settlement in Vatuwaqa, Suva.
Director of Public Prosecutions lawyer Ilisapeci Whippy provided the proposed agreed facts to the defence. She also confirmed receiving the grounds for voir dire from the defence.
Justice Madigan adjourned the case to September 25 to finalise the facts and follow up on the psychiatric examination.
