SMALL medium businesses in and around Lautoka were given a chance to showcase some of their products during the Arise Fiji Trade Fair yesterday.
Pegged as the Small Medium Enterprises Day, the businesses took advantage of the crowd gathered outside Churchill Park to sample some of the products on show.
Lautoka Chamber of Commerce and Industries administrator Mohammed Salim said it was important that larger businesses recognised the importance of smaller micro businesses.
"They also play a part in bringing in money into our city and so it is important that we should always work with them," Mr Salim said.
