COMEDY King Johnny Lever is excited to be in Fiji and looks forward in sharing the word of God to the people in the West.
The Bollywood actor was yesterday welcomed by the Lautoka City Council staff on behalf of the people of Lautoka before unveiling the new billboard picture of Paralympic golden boy Iliesa Delana.
Lever says he is honoured to be a part of this year's Arise Fiji festival where he is expected to showcase his talents in front of his local fans tonight.
A renowned name in the Bollywood movie industry, Lever said Fiji had a special place in his heart.
"I always love Fiji, especially the warm hospitality of the locals," he said. "I am so honoured to be invited at this year's Arise Fiji Show where I can also meet new friends. I thank the Lautoka City for welcoming me this morning and I am looking forward for a great experience in the country."
Lever said apart from his show, he would also share with the people of Lautoka the Almighty God's blessings that he claimed to have saved his son from a tumour.
"I have visited many parts of the world and have acted alongside some of Bollywood movie superstars, but I have never experienced peace until I gave my life to the Lord in 2002," he said.
"My son was advised by the doctor that he will die because of a tumour but he was saved by God and this why I have chosen to serve the Lord to lead my path every day."
