TWENTY executives from various organisations in the North converged for a two-day leadership training, spearheaded by the Prime Vision Limited yesterday.
Heads from Savusavu, Taveuni and Labasa were part of the training held at the Friendly North Inn in Labasa.
"We will be issuing certificates at the end of training to acknowledge participants who have attended the course," Prime Vision managing director Balbeer Singh said.
"The training is aimed at ensuring that people in leadership positions are good leaders who inculcate good practices and the right approach in their workplaces," Mr Singh said.
He said that the training consisted of representatives in leadership roles from the government and non-government sectors, and business houses in the North.
"We are proud to bring the training to the north as we have not forgotten leaders here and the people that work under them in our bid to ensure that proper procedures are implemented by those in leadership roles," Mr Singh said.
"We even run programs in the weekend to ensure that people attending the training are not disturbed during their working hours," he said.
Prime Vision Limited provides public and in-house training programs to business houses and organisations.
Topics covered during the training included delegations of roles, leadership for excellence, purpose of leadership, communications and feedback.
