MEMBERS of the public can now make written submissions to the Constitution Commission online.

The commission says members of the public can visit their website on www.constitution.org.fj and follow the instructions on how they can post their submissions.

A member of the Commission, Penelope Moore said people should not be afraid to make recommendations on what they thought should be the new laws for Fiji.

She said it was only through the constitution that government would behave as people wished them to. Ms Moore also highlighted that submissions could be made in the “form of a dance, song, etc”, as long as the commission understood what people wished to have in the new constitution.

“We want recommendations and what people want in place,” she said.

She said the people could send them their submission by post, email, online (www.constitution.org.fj)or drop it at our office.

Or you can contact them for general information on email: info@constitution.org.f j or submissions@constitution.org.fj for submissions.
