THE promotion/relegation match between Rewa and Namosi has attracted the interest of corporate bodies prior to the game on Saturday.
Yesterday, the Fiji Rugby Union announced a new partnership with GP Batteries who have come on board as sponsors of the game at Nausori's Ratu Cakobau Park.
GP Batteries is a new brand of world-renowned batteries being distributed throughout the region by the CJ Patel Group who are also sponsoring the Fiji Football National League.
"The power of Fiji Rugby is a great association for the GP Batteries brand, and given the high stakes, this match will certainly be packed with power and action," GP Batteries marketing manager Nathan Hildebrand said in a statement.
Namosi Rugby Union president Samisoni Tui said they were in top gear to book a spot in the major division next season.
Namosi was relegated to the B division by Macuata two years ago.
"We're coming with a purpose to beat Rewa and get back into top flight rugby and I'm confident we'll do just that this weekend in Nausori," Tui said.
Meanwhile, Rewa on the other hand has been preparing quietly in camp at the Queen Elizabeth Barracks.
The match kicks-off at 3pm and tickets are on sale at $5 for adults and $2 for children under 12 years old.
