A TYPICAL evening in the shopping centre of Naqara on the island of Taveuni is what one would describe as a fun-filled night
spent around a bowl of the local kava brew. During The Fiji Times recent visit to the island, we had the honour of joining residents
as they serenaded through the night. Old Fijian numbers were played over and over again amid jokes and island stories giving a sense of togetherness to anybody that joined the local Naqara Bar.
