POLICE have started investigations into alleged misuse of foreign aid given to two institutions in Labasa.
Criminal Investigations Department director Senior Superintendent Vakacegu Toduadua confirmed the investigations.
However, he could not divulge details of the alleged misuse of funds.
"We are investigating but I cannot divulge details at this stage."
SSP Toduadua also confirmed the team from headquarters had returned to Labasa to resume investigations over the alleged million-dollar scam.
"The team has returned to Labasa to resume investigations on the complaints lodged by a businessman," he said.
