THE Police Blues team in Labasa is banking on the public's support to win against Koibau at Subrail Park this Saturday in order to retain its Macuata Rugby Union Challenge title.
Assistant coach Sergeant Epeli Rikaiwai said the team comprising mostly of law enforcement officers had won five matches after challenging and defeating Bainivualiku Army in April.
"The boys usually meet after work and spend one hour at the ground for training before we address them on their performances," Rikaiwai said.
He said the public's support was crucial because it would boost the boys' performance on the field.
"The last battle is before us now and if we win this Saturday, we will surely retain our title. We want people to come in numbers and support our players because they are representing the force as a whole."
