FORMER Nadi flyer Vereniki Goneva was at his best again on Sunday scoring a try for Leceister to beat Worcester 34-26 at Welford Rd.
This was Goneva's second try in as many games in his first year in the English Aviva Premiership. He also scored in Leceister's opening round win 38-13 over London Welsh last weekend. He has been in top form ever since he joined Leicester this year.
Against Worcester, Goneva combined well with England backs Tobby Flood and Manu Tuilagi and was always a hard man to stop when in full flight.
Goneva managed to set up Samoan Tuilagi's two first half tries before he finally broke through for his own try in the second half.
In setting up Tuilagi's second try, Goneva made a blistering run near the sideline before unloading to the charging Samoan.
The win sees Leicester make it two wins from two games.
