LONDON - Australia's men's wheelchair basketball captain Brad Ness has suggested the nation's able-bodied team take a leaf out of the Paralympic team's playbook.
The Beijing champions marched into today's final (Sunday AM Fiji time) in London against Canada by defeating the US 72-63.
"Again, Australia has to look to the wheelchair basketballers to see who can beat the Yanks," said the veteran Rollers player.
Australia's women wheelchair team also defeated the Americans in the semi-finals only weeks after the USA stopped the Boomers and Opals at the Olympics.
The Dream Team halted the Boomers in the quarter-finals while Opals were again undone the Americans, this time at the semi-final stage.
