THE Lautoka Rugby Union is still in the process of finalising selection of the training squad and the coaching staff members for the Farebrother-Sullivan Trophy challenge next month.

This is after three different training squad lists were handed to the media for publication last week.

LRU chairman Ratu Isoa Tikoca said they were yet to finalise the training squad.

He said the team management would remain the same.

"I'm the only person who will be releasing details about Lautoka rugby to the media," Ratu Isoa said.

"We are also finalising the coaching staff."

Last week, LRU appointed Epeli Lagiloa as the technical adviser together with coaches Vuata Narisia and Viliame Satala.

Following the announcement, Kitione Ratudradra was roped in as forwards coach.

Former Maroons head coach Isireli Bulicokocoko said there were signs of lack of organisation within the LRU since they had not made up a final decision on the coaches and the training squad players.

He said the onus was on the executives to look for a sponsor for the team.

"Teams going into the Farebrother-Sullivan Trophy challenges are sponsored," Bulicokocoko said.

"Lautoka's challenge is less than a month away and the training squad hasn't been finalised, which is disappointing."

Lautoka last held the Trophy in 2003.
